Dealer Action seeks advisory members from the automotive community to inform the Magazine from time to time on innovative products/services, local dealer events, and to socialize magazine features to the industry.
Dealer Action Editor-in-Chief may authorize select advisory members (non-vendors) with the authority to nominate and/or judge Dealer Action Awards.
Benefits
Besides industry recognition, active advisory members will receive a certificate of achievement, lapel pin, profile badge on the website, and more.
Advisory members also receive a unique 100%-off promo code for paid Product Guide listing (depending on availability) - the promo code is sharable, but can not be sold or traded.
Qualifications
Although this volunteer position does not require much effort, it does require a commitment to perform at least one activity a month.
For example, send an email to the editor about a local dealer charity event. See, it’s not a lot of work, yet, very important. :)
Activity
Advisory Members can choose their volunteer activities:
- Inform us about local dealer events (charity golf, manager retreat, training program, etc.) where they need sponsorships or donations (Dealer Action can find them sponsorships).
- Seek a dealer story about a product or service they like
- One paragraph write up on a favorite product feature
- Promote magazine features on social media
- Visit or call on a dealer for a magazine survey/feedback
- Nominate a product for an award (see awards list page)
- Adopt a product category and become our subject matter expert (see categories)
- Moderate a magazine screencast - no preparations required
- Provide strategic advice on new Dealer Action features
